Conquest

Purpose: To educate, inform, and build self-worth in the youth of our community. To inspire students to conquer their fears and live their dreams.

The program includes motivational speaking, self-esteem instructions, feats of strength, student interviews and presentations that leave students wanting to know more about how to stay drug-free, violence-free, and sexually pure until marriage. Students will receive and sign a commitment card to "LIVE LIKE A CHAMPION."

Students follow through in their commitment by starting a campus service club, called  'Conquest Clubs’, which are led by a student and a teacher sponsor. These clubs will meet weekly at the school’s site during a dead period, or an activity period. Students will plan and conduct these weekly meetings, as well perform school and community service.
The Conquest program reaches nearly 5,000 students each year.

Champions International, Inc. has also conducted night rallies, peer training, and resource presentations for parents and teachers at local community centers once a year, to educate and keep them aware of the dangers young people face daily.

To date Champions International has reached over 50,000 students across Acadiana with its message of hope. 17,847 of those students come from Lafayette Parish.
