Since 1997 Champions International, Inc. has inspired young people to reach their full potential by using their gifts and talents to help others and themselves. From a small beginning of 30 participants the Player's Choice Basketball School has grown to reach over 240 boys and girls each summer. Our participants are motivated and encouraged everyday with special quotes, inspirational books, motivational guest speakers, memorabilia from small and major universities across the country, media guides, posters, practice shorts, game shorts, jerseys, t-shirts, basketballs, and much more. These are seeds planted in the hearts and minds of our participants with hopes of them enjoying the fruits of their labor for their present and future lives. 75% of our participants learned the value of good sportsmanship and setting goals. With its popularity for using the game of basketball as a key to unlock the unlimited doors to success, the Player’s Choice Basketball School has expanded to 6 neighboring parishes, Acadia, Evangeline, Lafayette, Iberia, St. Landry & Vermilion.
Hear what our participants have to say:
“I came hating basketball and left loving it. I left with a newfound competitive spirit (it’s a good thing!) and an abundance of basketball knowledge. I didn’t expect to have a lot of fun, but I did. I was impressed by the way that you can incorporate a Godly message into teaching kids basketball.”

Here’s what our parent’s say:
“My boys always have fun. They really enjoy the speakers. They also enjoy learning new skills.”
“Owen slept very well every night this week! That is how I know he was encouraged and driven to play hard & do his best. He would show us the drills he did every afternoon when we got home from camp. It was a great experience for him as a basketball player and a player in life.”
